Synopsis:
Shortly after becoming a widow, young Shin-ae and her son move to her late husband’s hometown. She is determined to start her life again, but as she enters the city her car breaks down. A local mechanic Jong Chan helps her and they become friends. Before marriage she was a pianist and she opens a piano school. She seems to be recovering. But the local people don't seem to like her and an unexpected tragedy occurs...
This was the best film in 2008, and Chang-dong Lee was the best director (Asian Film Awards, Hong Kong).
