Synopsis:
The biography of the most famous Brazilian composer of classical music, Heitor Villa-Lobos, begins with the concert in his honor in the Teatro Municipal in Rio De Janeiro. The old composer looks back on his life, from a childhood with a strict father, through his first contact with street musicians, his travels to the Amazon, early musical successes, years spent in Paris, failed marriage with his first wife Lucília, later happiness with the second wife Mindhina, and finally illness at the end of his life...
