This is the directing debut of one of the most famous representatives of surrealism, Luis Buńuel. Zlatno doba is Buńuel’s critique of religion and the bourgeois that starts as a documentary about scorpions. The basic motif becomes a loving couple who are constantly distracted from their attempts to make love.
