This edition of Short Tuesday has an experimental character, but not due to the kind of films shown but rather because of the manner of their presentation. Namely, editor of the program, Ivan Ramljak, spent part of the last year researching film theaters on Croatian islands and stumbled upon about seventy film rolls that were hidden in a warehouse in a Dominican monastery in Bol. Among them are many edition of Film News ('1st Conference of the Non-Alignment in Belgrade', 'Tito in Ghana', 'Tenth Anniversary of the Workers’ Self-Government'), as well as some documentaries ('2nd European Championship in Table Tennis, Zagreb 1960', 'Camera Through Zagreb'...), as well as several rolls of an Egyptian film from 1959 'Doa al karawan' and Hungarian “concert films”. So, for the first time, we will get the opportunity to see the collage of Communism, table tennis, coke and Czardas!
