Julie Lopes-Curval

 

fter graduating from the department of photography, the twenty-four year old
screenwriter and director Julie Lopes-Curval began to study acting at the famous
Cours Florenteu in Paris. Soon she turned to writing screenplays and
directing. In 2001, she co-wrote the screenplay for the film Une affaire qui
roule
(2003) directed by Eric Veniard and wrote and directed the short film
Mademoiselle Butterfly. In that same year, she directed her first feature
film Bord de mer (2002).
