Director
Dwivedi is an Indian director. He graduated in medicine but after a few months abandoned it due to his interest in literature and film. He began working in a theatre and in the late 1990s started to work at the TV station Zee TV. He became more widely acclaimed after directing the TV series Chanakya (1990) in which he also starred. Afterwards he directed other TV series Mrityunjay (1996) and Ek Aur Mahabharat (1997), and made his feature film directing debut with Pinjar (2003). He is currently working on the historical film Kunal Avadana.

Synopsis:

Puro is a happy young woman of Hindu origin promised to marry Ramchand, young man from a family similar to hers. Suddenly, her life changes when she gets kidnapped by an unknown man who turns out to be Rashid, a Muslim whose grandmother was kidnapped in the same way by Puro’s ancestor. Now Rashid is returning his family’s honor but ends up falling in love with Puro.
