Sonja Tarokić

 

Director
Ahmadi (born in Yazd in 1962) attended elementary and high school in Teheran. After the revolution he returned to his hometown Yazd and in 1983, began to work on films in the local youth club. From 1989 to 1992 he worked in the film production department of an advertising agency. In 1991, he graduated with a degree in photography from the University of Visual Arts in Teheran and spent the next ten years working as a photography and advertising manager in an Iranian organization. Since 1996, he has worked as the director of photography on several films and directed several documentary (short film Asir – Enteza (Captive Waiting, 2002), feature Nature's Humor, 2009) and feature films (Shaere zobale-ha (Poet of the wastes, 2005) and Haghighat-e Gomshodeh (Lost truth, 2008). He also produces films.
