Synopsis:

Marcello Mastroianni is a playboy from Rome, suspected for the murder of his lover, Adalgisa De Matteis. Inspector Palumbo questions the suspect in the police station and tries to determine his guilt. The film follows the “cat and mouse” game between the inspector and the suspect through a series of flashbacks.

The Tenth Victim

Synopsis:

This film is a combination of science fiction, action, satire and comedy. The story takes place in the 21st century when war and aggression are replaced with a legal game of hunting of people whose final outcome is killing of the hunted. The participants, hunters, and victims are randomly chosen by a computer, and the game turns into a TV spectacle.

Synopsis:

This is one of the first films to have dealt with the topic of the Italian mafia, based on the novel by Leonardo Sciascio. After the murder of two men in a small Sicilian town, Professor Paolo Laurana takes on the task of finding the murderers. Laurana is a lonely man without a family and has nothing to lose. As his investigation advances, we find that the corruption of the mafia reaches all the way to the Catholic church.

Synopsis:

This film, which deals with industry workers’ problems, won the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1972. The main character is Lulu Massa, quick and diligent worker who raises the working normative for other employees with his high productivity. One day, he has an accident at work and gets fired temporarily. During his recovery, he radically changes his outlook and upon his return to work tries to organize a union.

Flavio Bucci plays a bank clerk who is literally allergic to money. He does not like money or the effect it has on people. The butcher does not want to turn the thief in to the police but uses this opportunity to get some money from his insurers.
