Synopsis:
In a small village under Biokovo Mountain, refugees gather. They board a convoy of ships bound for the free island of Vis. Soon a storm begins and the ship’s motor breaks down. Their only chance at survival is to stop on an island conquered by the Germans.

Synopsis:
Germans occupy a small village. A small boy, Ante, is terrified when one of the German soldiers starts shooting his pigeons. In addition to that, the villagers are hungry and see Ante’s little flying friends as good food. Soon, a wounded partisan arrives to the village and Ante finds himself face to face with temptation.

Synopsis:
In the early 1820’s, a new school year begins in a small Bosnian village beneath the mountain Grmec. For several young boys, Baja, Ike, Veja, Joja and the seven Raseta brothers, it is the end of their childhood, as they witness the fights between bandits and the gendarmerie.
