Synopsis:
After their father’s death, fourteen-year-old Mehrollah is alone with his mother and three younger sisters. As the new head of the family, he goes south looking for a job so he can support his family. After some time, having managed to save enough money, he returns to his hometown with presents. Surprised and angry, he realizes that his mother has remarried to a policeman and moved to a new house. Unwilling to accept his stepfather, Mehrollah stays in the old house.
