Synopsis:
Suzanne is a minor in a family falling apart. The father has a lover. The mother has no control whatsoever, and the brother decides to take the role of a father in an aggressive way. Synopsis:
This is a documentary portrait of Sabine Bonnaire, the director’s younger sister, who started her life as a happy creative girl with special needs and ended up as an institutionalized unhappy middle aged woman with physical and mental problems as a result of years of improper medical treatment. Finally, Sabine is moved to a good home and, thanks to Sandrine, gets the good treatment that she deserves.

Synopsis:

One day she notices a couple in a hotel room playing chess. The game intrigues her and she decides to learn it. An introverted American, Mr Kröger, teaches her and gradually she becomes more confident in her abilities to play chess and in real life, as well.
