Synopsis:

This is a story about an unexpected friendship between a teenager and an older lady. Seventy year old Rosa is a widow and has trouble dealing with the loss of her husband. Even though she has a daughter, she is very lonely. One day she discovers eighteen year old Jó who is sleeping on the roof of her building. He is also alone, without any friends or family. The two of them find a common language and offer each other a much needed support.

The Portuguese Falcon

Synopsis:

This action comedy tells the story of the (super)hero captain Falcão (Falcon). Helives in the past in 1968, during the dictatorship in Portugal, and he is directly responsible to the dictator António de Oliveira Salazar. He fights the emergent “red threat” of communism as well as feminism and any other indication of change and development. He is not alone in his patriotic fight, Puto Perdiz is his faithful and capable right hand.
