Prvi dugometražni igrani film Srđana Karanovića, nastao tako što je u novinama diljem Jugoslavije objavio oglas s pozivom da se jave svi koji žele glumiti u filmu, bez obzira na godine, izgled, profesiju i mjesto boravka. Na objavljeni oglas pristiglo je čak sedam tisuća pisama, a za film je odabrano trideset osoba. Radnja filma napravljena je prema "filmskim" željama odabranih.
