This year’s selection of contemporary Italian films brings six thematically and in terms of film procedure very different films by directors who share a common trait – different approaches to the young generation.

All films in this program have both English and Croatian subtitles!

Synopsis:

The heroine of the film, Stefania, is a nurse from Sicily. She is currently in Iraq as a member of the humanitarian organization that helps children who are victims of war. Together with other volunteers she is in a safe zone but is forbidden to leave it. Nevertheless, Stefania tries to escape from the safe zone in any possible way. She finds a young Iraqi man and persuades him to be her translator and escort but forbids him to ask any questions. What is she looking for that is so important?
