(1959)
Synopsis:
Great Britain in the early fifties. Ian Carmichael, an Oxford
graduate, starts working in an armor factory, owned by his uncle. He becomes a
puppet in the hands of the crooked factory management, as well as the labor
union, led by the slightly mentally incompetent Fred Kite. Soon there is a big
national strike... One of the best performances by Peter Sellers, a role that brought him the
BAFTA award and international fame.
