Agostino Ferrente

Agostino Ferrente was born on October 28,1971 in Cerignola. He is a producer, art director and music publisher. He worked as an assistant director to Silvano Agosti and received recognition at international film festivals with his short films Poco piů della metŕ di zero (1993) and Opinioni di una pirla (1994).
Together with Giovanni Piperno he directed the two awarded documentaries Intervista a mia madre (Rai Tre-Teatri Uniti 1999) and Il film di Mario (1999-2001), produced by Pirata Manifatture Cinematografiche. In 2001 he founded the Apollo 11 association in Rome. With Mario Tronco from the group Avion Travel, he founded the Orchestra from Vittorio Square, a group that consists of twenty musicians from around the world. He directed the documentary video for the group Avion Travel when they were recording their album in a studio in 2003, as well as Pino Marino’s video L'alluvione del '43 in 2005 and Ene Andi video (Orchestra from Vittorio Square), which won the award for best director at the Video Clip Italiano 2006.
