Fliegauf is a self-taught Hungarian director and screenwriter. He began his film career with documentaries (
Határvonal, 2000; Van élet a halál előtt?, 2001) and short films (
Beszélő fejek, 2001;
Hypnos, 2001; ). In 2003 he made his feature film debut
Rengeteg (Forest) with a minimal budget. Its success ensured the director a bigger budget and better conditions for his next film
Dealer (2004), which earned him the status of one of the best young Hungarian directors. Afterwards he directed a segment of the omnibus
Európából Európába (From Europe into Europe, 2004) and the short film
The Line (A Sor, 2004). His last feature film is
Milky Way (Tejút, 2007).
