he arrived to Paris and began writing literature for children and adolescents.
At the age of twenty-seven, he published his first novel for adults L infamille,
followed by La Douceur, which was nominated for the Renaudot
award. At the same time, he began to work on film and wrote film critiques for
many film magazines and newspapers (among others for the popular magazine
Premiere). In 2000, he wrote his first screenplay together with the director
Anne-Sophie Birot. Afterwards he wrote the screenplay for her film Les Filles
ne savent pas nager. In 2001, he directed the short film Nous Deux,
and a year later he made a debut with his first feature film 17 fois Cecile Cassard. In 2002, he directed the television film
Tout contre Léo and wrote screenplay for the film Novo (directed
by Jean-Pierre Limosin). In 2004, he expects to finish directing his new film
Ma mere. The film Trois danses d\\\'esclaves directed by Gaël Morel, on
which Honore worked as a co-screenwriter, also should be released by the end of
this year.
