Ágnes Kocsis
(Budapest, Hungary, 1971)

Kocsis is a Hungarian director and screenwriter. She graduated with a degree in Polish language and literature, esthetics and film theory from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. In October 2005 she graduated with a degree in directing from the Academy for theatre and film, and in 2003 she spent two semesters on a scholarship at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome where she attended directing and dramaturgy classes. So far has she made three short films Assorted Letters (Szortirozott levelek, 2001), 18 Pictures from the Life of a Conserve Factory Girl (18 kép egy konzervgyári lány életéböl, 2003) and A vírus (2005). She made her first feature film Fresh Air (Friss levegö, 2006) together with Andreo Roberti, co-screenwriter on her film A Vírus. Their latest project was the feature film Adrienn Pál (2007).






Andrea Roberti
(Rome, Italy, 1970)

Roberti is a director and screenwriter. He graduated from the University of Rome department of theatre and film with a degree in TV and film dramaturgy. He collaborated with Ágnes Kocsis as a co-screenwriter on the short film A vírus (2005), co-screenwriter and co-director on the feature film Fresh Air (Friss levegö, 2006) as well as co-screenwriter on their last project Adrienn Pál (2007). He is currently working on his postgraduate thesis about feminist theory of film at the University of Rome.

Synopsis:

Viola is an attractive middle-aged single mother doing a job that nobody else wants, but she has no choice. Angela, her daughter, is ashamed of having a mother who works in a public toilet. Her dream is to become a fashion designer and escape from brutal reality. The only thing Angela and Viola have in common is their favorite TV series.
