Director

French writer, designer, screenwriter and director of animated films and television programs, former president of the International Association of Animated Film.

Although he is best known for his debut feature Kirikou and the Enchantress in 1998, his earlier film and television work has already won Césars and British Academy Film Awards.

In 2015, he received a lifetime achievement award at the World Animated Film Festival - Animafest Zagreb.
