Heung-sik Park

Heung-sik is a South Korean director and screenwriter. He studied astronomy at the Yonsei University but then decided on a film career. He made his directing debut with the feature film I Wish I Had a Wife (Nado anaega isseosseumyeon johgessda, 2001). Afterwards he made romantic dramas in a similar tone My Mother, the Mermaid (Ineo gongju, 2004) and Bravo, My Life! (Saranghae malsoonssi, 2005). His last film is a segment within the omnibus Sorry and Thank You (2011).
