Quatriglio was born in 1973, graduated in law in 1997, and in 1999 finished the
Scuola Nazionale di Cinema 1999. Her short films were shown at many festivals around the world. Her film
Anna! was shown in Cannes, within the program Universelle organized in collaboration with
Kodak. Her first documentary,
Ëcosaimale?, received great reviews at the
Torino Film Festival. In 2001, she made the documentary
Io, qui - il diritto di ricordare: viaggio attraverso le adozioni internazionali, produced by the Commission for International Adoptions within the
Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, department Affari Sociali and in collaboration with
Tele +. With his film
L’isola (The Island) he presented Italy at the “Quinzaine des realisateurs” in Cannes in 2003. This film was also shown in the program Panorama at the Annecy Cinema Italien in 2003, at the Cinema Mediterranéen Montpellier in 2003, Jerusalem International Film Festival in 2003 and Chicago International Film Festival in 2003 within the program New Directors Competition.
