Riccelli is a Brazilian actor, producer and director. He studied Dramatic Arts at the University of Sao Paulo, and he made his acting debut at the age of twenty four in the film A Moreninha (1970) by Glauco Mirko Laurelli. He appeared in a number of roles, mostly acting in television series, but also in films. He made his directing debut with the comedy Stress, Orgasms, and Salvation (2005), and afterwards directed the drama O Signo de Cidade (2007) and the comedy Onde está a Felicidade? (2011). He produced these three films himself. His wife, actress and screenwriter Bruna Lombardi, was a regular collaborator on all three films.
