Redatelj i scenarist, diplomirao je primijenjene umjetnosti 1998. godine na Helwan sveučilištu, a 2010. završio filmsku i televizijsku režiju na egipatskom francuskom sveučilištu (Université Française d'Egypte). Snimio je kratkometražne filmove Jasmine - Life with Memories (2009.), Immigrant (2010.), Gwa Elbahr (In the Sea, 2010.) i Bard Yanair (The Cold of January, 2011.).

Synopsis:

Bahia is a mother living with her children in poverty. January is near and the room in which they live has no door, which would keep them warmer in wintertime. During the revolution, Bahia sells flags to earn enough money for a new door. While historical events unfold around her, she does not notice them as she is more concerned about the cold and her family’s survival.
