Tadi (born in Abadan, in 1961) is an Iranian director, costume designer and art director. He began his film career in 1990 as a set designer on Ebrahim Hatamiki’s films. He worked as a costume designer and art director on Kiumars Poorahmad’s film Be khatere Hanie (1994) and Ebrahim Hatamiki’s films Moje mordeh (2001) and The Glass Agency (Ajans shisheh, 1997).
In 1997, he began writing screenplays and directed his first feature film A Notebook from the Sky/A Book From Heaven and the TV films Land of Grandfather, An Umbrella For The Director and The Feather of the Eagle. Outside of Iran he is most famous for his film for children Behind the Curtain of Fog (Posht-e pardeh-e meh, 2004).
