Sandra Werneck

Director
Werneck is a Brazilian director and producer. She began directing in the mid-1970s and made many short and documentary films. Her first feature film is Little Book of Love (Pequeno Dicionário Amoroso) from 1997. Afterwards she made Possible Loves (Amores Possíveis) (2001), a biography of the Brazilian musician Cazuza: Time Doesn't Stop (Cazuza - O Tempo Não Pára, 2004), the documentary Teen Mothers (Meninas, 2006) and the drama Stolen Dreams (Sonhos Roubados, 2009).

Synopsis:

Carlos, a student, waits for his girlfriend Júlia in front of a movie theatre. However, she does not show up. Following this, the story breaks into three parts and we see three possible futures: one in which she arrives and the two of them marry and later divorce; a second in which he marries some other girl but is unhappy with his life; in the third he remains single, enduring a string of failed relationships, always waiting for the right woman to come along…
