Andrés Wood

Wood is a Chilean director, screenwriter and producer. He studied economics at the Chilean University from 1984 to 1988 and afterwards moved to New York to study film. Upon his return to Chile he made his first feature film Historias de fútbol (1997) and afterwards El desquite (1999), La fiebre del loco (2001) and his most famous film up to now Machuca (2004).
