Synopsis:

Lieutenant Drogo is sent on his first mission into a far away and isolated fort on the very edge of a desert bordering massive mountains. The goal for the soldiers is to defend the fort from Tatars. While anticipating the attack some soldiers use this time to advance their careers, and others give up on waiting for the attack.
