Synopsis:
In March of 1954, as part of their tests the US Army detonated a hydrogen bomb on the Bikini atoll in the Pacific Ocean. Due to bad calculations, it resulted in a catastrophic rain of radioactive dust that landed on a Japanese fishing boat Daigo Fukuryu-Maru, which was, at the time, 160 kilometers away from the atoll. All the members of the crew got sick and the hero of this film died in September of the same year.
