Synopsis:
The film’s theme is universal marital infidelity. When past comes knocking on the door, the heroes of the story must learn to resist temptation and face up to the prospect that the future might not be what they imagined. The story is set in the late 1950s, adapted from the novel by the Brazilian writer Eça de Queirós.
