Synopsis:

This is an omnibus consisting of four stories and an epilogue taking place in Sicily in the 19th century. A mother is yearning for news about her sons who have moved to America fourteen years ago and has trouble connecting to her son who remained at home. A young villager realizes that her husband goes crazy every month when the moon is full. She asks a relative for help but ends up in bed with him. A rich man seeks a craftsman to fix his broken olive oil jug, but he gets stuck in the fixed container. Villagers attempt to get a permission from a landowner to build a cemetery. In the epilogue, author of these stories, Luigi Pirandello, talks to the ghost of his deceased mother…
