Synopsis:
Ferenc Gergó met Béla Nagy in the army. Later, Béla became an informer in a provincial telecommunications factory and played a big role in Gergó’s death in 1958. Béla remembers past events. Gergó fell in love with the main engineer Wagner’s wife Zsuzsa. Immediately before the revolution, Wagner is arrested under the suspicion of being a spy and dies in prison. For some time Zsuzsa rejects Gergó and decides to raise her child alone, but soon they become closer and get married. At their wedding they receive news that the revolution has started…
