Synopsis:
The film tells the story of a ten year old boy and his family’s everyday life during the revolutionary events in Budapest in October 1956. During curfew everyone has to stay inside the house. Grandma spends time reading and the boy is happy because he does not have to go to school. Nevertheless, rioting in the streets affects the whole family.

In this film we follow the story of Janos, her aunt’s lover, who participated in the revolution.

A few years later the revolutions starts and Naftalin decides to look for his brother and set him free.
