Synopsis:
This is a biography of Imre Nagy, a Hungarian political leader who strongly opposed Russian politics and thanks to whose efforts Hungary withdrew from the Warsaw pact. The story takes place during a two and a half year span, from the beginning of the revolution until Nagy’s execution. In 1989, Nagy was buried again with State honors.
