Synopsis:
This film shows relationships in a family throught eighty years. The story begins in 1906 with christening of the boy Carl0, held in his arms by the grandpa. It ends with Carlo as a grandpa holding a child in his arms. Other members of the family include Carlo’s younger brother Giulio, wife Beatrice and her sister Adriana, bohemian artist with who Carlo fell in love in his youth.
