Synopsis:

This film shows relationships in a family throught eighty years. The story begins in 1906 with christening of the boy Carl0, held in his arms by the grandpa. It ends with Carlo as a grandpa holding a child in his arms. Other members of the family include Carlo’s younger brother Giulio, wife Beatrice and her sister Adriana, bohemian artist with who Carlo fell in love in his youth.

Synopsis:

The story takes place in 1930 in Italy on a historical day: Hitler comes to Italy to visit Mussolini. While her fascist husband and entire family go out to the street to see the procession, the housewife Antonietta remains at home to do house chores. The only other person in the building is Gabriele, a recently jobless radio host who is waiting to be deported to Sardinia due to his anti-fascist views and homosexuality.

Synopsis:

Rimski zidar i predani komunist Oreste Nardi susreće Adelaide Ciafrocchi i zaljubljuje se u nju na pučkoj zabavi. Adelaide je cvjećarka koja drži štand na rimskom groblju Verano. Između njih dvoje se razvija strast, za što saznaje Antonia, Orestova mnogo starija supruga.
