Tucked away in one of the narrow streets of old Stockholm is the City hotel. Filled with mysterious guests, the hotel is searched for a jewel thief by police inspector Goeransson. This is the first film in which Ingrid Bergman appeared. She was nineteen years old at the time it was made.
