Harry Caine is a blind writer who spends most of his time in his apartment, accompanied by his agent Judith and her son Diego. Slowly we discover a past in which he used to be called Mateo Blanco who worked as a film director. We flash back to a time when he was preparing a new film starring Lena. Her obsessive husband, Ernesto Martel, disapproves of his wife’s career, fearing that he may lose her.
