Synopsis:
Julia is in real estate business and is quite energetic in her job. She decides to use a very attractive apartment in a house in order to bring a little life into her marriage. While she amuses herself on a water bed with her husband Ricardo, a rain of cockroaches fall on them from a hole in the ceiling. Soon, firemen break into the apartment above them and find a decomposing body of an old man. Later that night, Julia breaks into the apartment of the old man. There she finds 15 million dollars that he won in a lottery, hidden in the floor. While she exits the dead man’s apartment, carrying the money in trash bags, she runs into the neighbor Ramon. He is suspicious of Julia. Soon it becomes evident that all inhabitants of house knew about the hidden money. It was their agreement to share the money after the old man’s death. But, when Julia appeared the plan went wrong. Soon, Julia is invited to a party organized by the Cuban charmer Oswaldo. There is a gallery of grotesque characters, inhabitants of the house… Julia’s unusual and unanimous neighbors are determined in their attempt get the money, which they believe is only theirs…
