Synopsis:
Tajna dvorca I.B. is based on the play Druga rezolucija performed by Kerempuh’s Happy Theater. This is a ballet satire, based on the screenplay by Fadil Hadžić, which makes fun of the Cominform’s actions against Yugoslavia. During a spiritual séance, county representatives and their supervisor resurrect the ghost of Resolution, who goes among the people and tries to start a rebellion against the government. However, the rebels fail… Tajna dvorca I.B. is one of the three film adaptations of Kerempuh’s one-act plays produced by Jadran film between 1950 and 1951. Like the other two, Profesor Budalastov by Branko Marjanović and Oktavijan Miletić, and Kerempuhov dnevnik by Bogdan Maračić, this film was never shown publicly in the former Yugoslavia.
