Synopsis:

Charlie je skitnica koji se suprotstavi trojici grubijana braneći mladu djevojku. Iako pomalo nespretan, uspije se riješiti nasrtljivaca te ga iz zahvalnosti djevojka povede kući. Njezin otac farmer ponudi mu posao. Iako nije pretjerano sposoban radnik na farmi, on spriječi novu pljačku. Dolaskom djevojčina zaručnika, skitnica shvaća da nema šanse zadobiti njenu ljubav.
