Synopsis:

A group of young and wealthy bourgeois take a trip on a yacht to a volcanic island near Sicily. On the way, Anna mysteriously disappears. Sandro, Anna’s boyfriend, and Claudia, her friend, search for her and along the way and become lovers…This is one of the most important films by Antonioni. It won the jury award at Cannes film festival.

The Night

Synopsis:

The story is about a married couple – a successful writer, Giovanni Pontano, and his wife, Lidia. We see them on an afternoon visit to a dying friend in a hospital, at a party for Pontano’s newest novel, in a house of a wealthy industrialist and finally in their own nightly adventures - Lidia roams the streets of Rome, while her husband has an affair with the industrialist’s daughter…This film won the Golden Bear at the Berlin film festival.

The Eclipse
