Synopsis:

Montgomery Clift igra Michaela Logana, svećenika koji je spletom okolnosti osumnjičen za ubojstvo koje nije počinio. Kućepazitelj Otto Keller priznao mu je u ispovijedi da je nenamjerno ubio odvjetnika pokušavajući ga opljačkati. Svećenik, vezan ispovjednom tajnom, ne smije reći što zna. Synopsis:
