Synopsis:

Joachim Dallayrac, a well-known opera singer, shocks the public when he announces his retirement. He retreats to a farm and devotes his time to teaching a young singer, Sophie. He meets a young thief named Jean whose voice enchants him and starts teaching him as well. The two singers soon apply to compete at the singing competition of Joachim’s old rival.

Synopsis:

Roger is a photographer for a local newspaper, a husband and father of two, the teenaged Micheland and his little sister Luisa. He is disappointed with family life and wants something more. He gets an opportunity to enter a competition for breaking records where the main prize is a new car. He decides to train his son to break the record for opening and closing doors in twenty-four hours and finds him a coach.

Synopsis:

Pauline is 66 years old. She is happy, but mentally retarded and therefore living with her sister Martha who takes care of her. They have two other sisters, Cécile and Paulette, who have their own lives. When Martha dies, questions about Pauline’s future accommodations arise. According to Martha’s will, Pauline will inherit all her money unless Paulette or Cécile take her to live with one of them.
