Robert Eggers

Writer, director, production designer, and costume designer. The Witch (2015), his feature film debut, won the Directing Award in U.S. Dramatic Competition at Sundance. It garnered two Independent Spirit Awards wins, for Best First Feature and Best First Screenplay. His second film, The Lighhouse (2019), was awarded the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes, where it premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight section.
