Ayelet Menahemi (Tel Aviv, 1963) is an Israeli director, editor and screenwriter. In 1985 she graduated from the Beit Zvi School for Theatre and Film Art. Since then she has worked as a director and editor and made many TV and musical videos, as well as short films and documentaries. In 1987, she made the medium length feature drama
Orvim, followed by two full-length features
Abba Ganuv III (1991) and
Sipurei Tel-Aviv (1992). In 1992 she made the short film
Get (1992). With Eilono Ariel whe co-directed the documentaries
Doing Time, Doing Vipassana (1997) and
Zmani (2001). In 2007, she directed and wrote the screenplay for her third feature film
Noodle.
