Synopsis:
This is the story of a young couple who get their hands on a large sum of
money and decide to go on a trip around the world. During their cruise, they
split up, flirt, get seasick, love each other and fight. Finally, they grow
closer again when their ship is stranded, and they are saved by a Chinese junk’s
crew. Upon their return home, they go back to their everyday lives as if nothing
had happened… This film seems more like an episode from a TV series than a feature film. It
failed both on American and British market (where it played under the title
East of Shanghai).
