Upon their return home, they go back to their everyday lives as if nothing had happened… This film seems more like an episode from a TV series than a feature film. It failed...

This is the story of a secret agent, Richard Ashenden, who is sent to Switzerland to find and murder a spy. However, he has no idea what the spy looks like, and mistakenly kills an innocent tourist… This is not an excessively valued film by Hitchcock, but it is still impressive because of the unique directing style and excellent actors.

A young woman’s corpse is found on the seashore. It looks as if the woman has been strangled by the belt of a man’s raincoat which was found around her neck. A young man, Robert Tisdall, is the main suspect. He runs away, looking for the man who stole his raincoat. A young and innocent girl Erica helps him… This is a laid-back thriller, famous for the camera’s drive across fifty meters to the face of the suspect, who cannot stop blinking his eyes and so reveals his guilt.

Iris is confused and together with the young musician Gilbert, sets off to find the vanished lady... This is an outstanding spy film, with much more humor than it is typical...
