Synopsis:
Alice White is in a relationship with Frank Webber, Scotland Yard’s detective. One evening, they have a fight and Alice ends up in the apartment of a painter who tries to rape her. In self-defence, she murders him. The case is assigned to her fiancé Frank, who discovers that his girlfriend Alice is involved in everything and tries to hide this from his bosses.
