Synopsis:
Nicole’s father, Charles Bonnet is an art forger who pretends to be a collector. In spite of his daughter’s opposition, he borrows the statue of Cellini’s Venus to a museum that organizes an exhibition. The statue was made by Nicole’s grandfather and she is against her father’s decision because she is afraid that it will be discovered that it is a fake statue. One evening she finds a burglar trying to steal her father’s last forgery and accidentally shoots him. Since she cannot go to the police, she drives him back to his hotel.
